Not too much exciting stuff going on, but I feel the need to post! This is what I worked on all last week, I am pretty proud of it!
It’s a quilt for Jaime and Chad’s baby MaKayla who is scheduled to be born on May 21st. Yes, I did say scheduled!
In other baby news, my sister Sarah is scheduled to have her little girl Mollie tomorrow! I am so excited, grandma is going to pick me up at 8am so we can go sit and wait. I am working on another quilt for Jake’s cousin Marshall’s baby who is going to be born around the same time as MaKayla. His name is going to be Luke (as far as we still know). Anyway, I wanted to get it all ready for the binding so I could to the hand stitch work while I was sitting, but I don’t think I am going to get it all done. So far I only have the “coins” sewed together.
I did scrap a page today, but I can’t share that yet. I don’t think I have anything new since the last time I posted though. I have been busy sewing and not really taking time to scrap. I am all caught up on the sewing that I have to do though. I am waiting on fabric for one order and waiting for someone to pay for another order. That’s the worst part, waiting to get paid. It’s also a HUGE pain. In fact, I need to go post on the blog over there that I am not doing ANY more work without being paid up front. I made a diaper bag for someone at church at the beginning of March and she hasn’t been back to church since the week that she messaged me repeatedly on Face Book wanting me to get it done. I did it that week and it’s still hanging here. I am to the point where now I have this custom diaper bag and until I find someone who wants that exact bag, I am just out the time and money. It’s super annoying.
Michele and I are working on something fun that is going to debut on National Scrapbooking Day which is this Saturday. It’s something we have had in the works for about 9 months now and we just keep putting it off while we are busy with other stuff. Well, we are finally going to get it going! SO watch here and I will keep you posted…I promise!
Well, I am going to go sew for a bit…have a great evening!
