Ok, I know that I have been a bad blogger.  Things were really busy here last week.  Sick kids, gone 2 days at Grandma’s house (kind of a new job), etc… 

This is going to be a kind of catch up post and then I will try to keep it updated more often…I promise!

So the Grandma thing…she was diagnosed a few weeks ago with Type A Diabetes, she has had some problems with it in the past, but not for about 10 years now.  She had her sugar and stuff tested and her cholesterol was like 690 and her sugar was 570 or something like that.  It’s a wonder she was even getting around at all.  I am going down to her house 2-3 days a week now and cooking some and cleaning, doing laundry, that kind of thing.  It’s nice for me to get out of the house a little and I am able to make a little money so that’s always good.  And it’s good for them because it keeps them from having to pay a fortune for a stranger to come in and do it.  Sarah cooks for them one night a week and she goes over and does stuff on the days in between when I go over.

Last week Dillon and Bailey were both sick.  Some kind of stomach bug, no fever or anything, just throwing up.  I had to clean the carpet in my room once from Dillon and in Bailey’s room 2 times.  I was NOT happy about having to do that the 2nd time!!  Colton never did get it and they are all fine now.

This week is the kids’ spring break and it’s only Monday morning and I am already about to go insane!  Luckily I am going to Grandma’s tomorrow and probably Friday so that will get me out of here a little bit!

We bought Sing Star for the PS2 last week and we have been playing that a little bit.  No one wants to play me cause I always win!  Jake beat me at one song, but I win every other time!  Then Saturday night he used a Target GC that he got from the guys at work to buy Rock Band…I haven’t played that one, but we had to put it away a little bit ago because the kids won’t stop fighting over who gets to play what, etc…

I have also spent a good deal of time writing this past week.  I have always wanted to write, but never took the time to do it since I have had kids.  It’s an original story, but not original characters.  Since I read the Twilight books I have read a lot of Twilight Fan Fiction and I thought, why not try my hand at that?  So I started one and I have 2 chapters so far and it’s being pretty well received so far.  I have a great girl, Amber, who is Beta reading it for me.  A Beta is kind of like an editor I guess, she reads it and makes corrections and suggestions…she’s great and has really helped me a lot.  I know that those of you who haven’t read the books may not be interested, but I am posting the link just in case!  The story really could stand on it’s own, because I am putting enough of the history and back stuff in it.  Here is the link to my profile.   The story is called Eternal.  Just click on the name of the story and it will take you there.  There is a prologue and 2 chapters so far.

Now for the scrapping….I have done 7 layouts now for the ADSR challenge.  One I didn’t have to post though, only one team member needed to do it, but we both did a layout.  SO here are my 7 layouts…
