We had a pretty good weekend.  Lots of grilling, lots of food, friends, fireworks, etc…  Jake has to go back to work today too, he’s not looking forward to that!  I took the last few days off from sewing to get some stuff done around the house.   Bailey and I picked up a few more letters yesterday and when we got home we pulled out some old scrapbook supplies, an old book, paints, mod podge, sanding blocks and more fun stuff and ended up with this…

I am not done yet, but I am really liking where it’s going!  Here are some close ups of the finished letters.

I don’t know which one is my favorite, but I am really liking the one with the green/blue/red damask, that’s a Basic Grey print from years ago!  How about all those prima flowers?!  Anyway, we still have a few to go, but for now I think it looks pretty good!

Here are some shots I got at the 4th of July party we went to.  I am still learning how to shoot fireworks and I don’t have a tripod so they are decent, but that’s about it!

We had a lot of fun, ate a lot of food and the kids had a blast!
